Excellent restaurant. Our work colleague was very good to bring us here. Make sure to get a reservation days in advanced and also tell them if you want the racclete service because this is limited to only a few tables.

A lovely place to eat on a warm sunny day with a terrific view of Baselland. The staff were friendly, smiling and helpful without being obtrusive. Wonderful selection of wholesome food.

Dined many times over the years here, last time I was here was 2018. The menu has slimmed down a lot. I had Alpern magaroni, it was ok. It lacked flavour and the crispy onions and apple sauce weren't homemade. The family had rôsti with bacon and eggs, which they said it was ok and they enjoyed it. The service is good but for what you get it's expensive. The bill came to 155 stutz with 6 drinks, no starter, no desert. My sis in law ordered a meatless salad and water, her hubby a salad with a pint of cider. There bill came to 60chf. The portions are a good size.

Beautiful place to eat! Most of the food was really nice and environment was cozy and warm! Really nice view just few steps from the restaurant! A bit expensive and food took around 30 minutes to be served 😐, be aware that there is a dish of pasta with apple sauce and cheese which should NOT be in the menu; it was simple, fatty and not a nice taste at all! 🤭🤢 English menu are not provided so make sure you ask what you are ordering! 😬

Great place to visit in combination with a little hike. Great view, great food and warm service. Menu is rather simple, perfect choice for a hiking stop. Update: also great cake!

Wow! Great food and a gray view. Arrive early so you can wander out to the Vista point. When we were there it was so clear we were able to see clear to the Alps. The restaurant is comfortable and homey with friendly service and wonderful food. The nuesslisalat is fantastic. On weekends you have to hike up, but during the week, you can drive up and park near the restaurant.
